The Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority
of Guilan Province and the Director of the Special Economic Zone of Astara Port
have given this message:
In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
The coincidence of the days of Tasu'a and
Ashura with the Reporter Day reminds all Muslims once again of the bravery of
Hazrat Zainab - the messenger of Ashura - peace be upon her. Undoubtedly, she was
the exemplar of a reporter in Hosseini's Ashura movement to convey the message
of Ashura day to everyone so that the truth remains eternal.
Throughout history, reporters have brought
insight, excellence, and raising the level of society's awareness, and today we
have witnessed their sacrifices and efforts many times in serious matters, such
as during the Corona pandemic and other social events. During this period, they
did not separate themselves from the medical staff and the people, and they
continuously raised awareness and invited people to follow the health
principles and protocols.
In the Qur'an, God has sworn by "the pen
and what they write" and on the other hand, the great Prophet of Islam
(PBUH) also said in a hadith: "Tell the truth and do not be afraid of
blame in the way of God." Hence, the mission of reporters and their
writings, which is the revealing the truth, became more valuable and sensitive.
While offering my condolences on Tasua and
Ashura and the days of mourning for the martyrdom of Abba Abdullah al-Hussein,
peace be upon him, I congratulate all the honest and hardworking reporters of
the country, especially Guilan province, on the arrival of the Reporter Day,
and wish the health and success of these dear ones in fulfilling their mission
and contributing to the prosperity of the Islamic Iran.
