PMO News Portal - Farhad Montaser Koohsari, deputy director of port and economic affairs at the Ports and Maritime Organization, referring to the extent of maritime cargo operations in ports of the country and comparison with the same period, stated that In this regard, the total volume of unloading and loading operations of the country's ports, for both petroleum and non-oil, is over 140 million tons, which shows a 5% increase over the same period last year.
He continued: Non-oil commodity statistics exceeded 3 million tons in terms of exports, imports, transit and trans-shipment, which shows up 7% increase compared to the same period a year earlier. Of this amount, imports of non-oil goods through the country's ports amounted to more than 32 million tons a year, which represents a 32% increase compared to the same period last year.
Exports of non-oil goods were also reported at 49 million tons, which has not changed much over the same period last year.
